This is a hands-on Revit production role supporting a U.S.-based architectural practice focused primarily on residential projects. You will develop complete 3D residential models in Revit from architectural plans and design information, then produce accurate construction documentation including plans, elevations, sections, wall sections, details, and sheet sets.

You should have a strong understanding of how residential buildings are constructed and be comfortable working independently without needing step-by-step technical guidance. Strong English comprehension and communication skills are required, as you will need to clearly understand project instructions, drawings, markups, and feedback and communicate questions when clarification is needed. The role will also include creating 3D site and topography models in Revit from provided site plans or survey information.

This position will begin part-time (approximately 20 hours per week), with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and workload.

A detailed portfolio demonstrating your actual Revit modeling and construction documentation work is required.

Responsibilities

Develop complete 3D architectural models and construction documents independently using Revit Architecture for residential projects.
Create and manage detailed construction documents including wall sections, architectural detailing, and blueprint reading to ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards.
Build Revit site and topography models based on site plans or survey data to support comprehensive residential project modeling.
Coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts to ensure model consistency and effective collaboration across multiple project stakeholders.
Produce family creation and sheet set creation within Revit to standardize project components and documentation.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of construction documentation and resolve modeling issues proactively.
Utilize AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D tools to supplement the architectural modeling and integrate necessary civil details into the BIM workflow.
Maintain strong communication skills to work independently with minimal supervision and provide clear updates on project progress.
Apply expertise in residential architecture and construction to ensure models and documentation reflect real-world building conditions and regulations.
Review and verify drawings and models against client requirements and project specifications to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Stay current with industry standards and best practices to continuously improve BIM modeling techniques and documentation quality.
