Admark Digital (admarkdigital.com) is looking for a WordPress developer with an eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. We’re looking for an experienced candidate with expertise in developing WordPress themes and plugins; a full understanding of web standards and responsive design techniques; an understanding of jQuery and other JavaScript libraries; and expert HTML and Sass skills.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development of WordPress sites
- Develop responsive, standards-compliant HTML and CSS3 themes for WordPress
- Install, test and debug WordPress plugins and develop new plugins as needed
- Evaluate designs, wireframes and other deliverables during the design and user experience phase for potential development issues and flag problems appropriately
- Conduct peer review of themes created by other developers
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display in major supported browsers on Mac, PC, iOS and Android platforms
- Communicate the intricacies of complex web development issues, acting as a subject matter expert both internally across departments and externally with clients
- Prototype functionality for internal and client review
