Admissions Officer

The Admissions Officer at Myserah – Study Abroad plays a vital role in managing the entire admissions process for individuals interested in pursuing international education opportunities. This position involves daily interaction with prospective students, providing counseling on available programs, reviewing applications, verifying necessary documentation, and guiding applicants through eligibility criteria and deadlines. The officer is also responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with partner institutions abroad, and responding to inquiries via multiple channels including email, phone, and face-to-face meetings. Throughout the application cycle, the Admissions Officer offers continuous updates and support to ensure a smooth and transparent process. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi, requiring close collaboration with colleagues and direct engagement with applicants and their families.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end admissions process for international study programs, ensuring timely and accurate application handling.
- Counsel prospective students on program options, eligibility requirements, and admission procedures.
- Review and verify application materials and supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of applications, communications, and institutional correspondences.
- Coordinate with international universities and educational institutions to facilitate admissions and resolve queries.
- Respond promptly to inquiries received via email, phone, and in-person visits, providing clear and helpful information.
- Support applicants throughout the application journey by providing updates, addressing concerns, and guiding them through deadlines.
- Collaborate regularly with internal teams to streamline processes and improve the overall applicant experience.
- Manage walk-in and scheduled appointments efficiently, balancing a steady workflow in a dynamic office environment.

Required Qualifications

- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with diverse applicants and their families.
- Experience or knowledge in international admissions and education systems, with an understanding of global entry requirements and study pathways.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities to clearly explain processes and manage expectations.

- Proficiency in office software and admissions-related tools, including comfort working with databases and digital record management.
- Ability to work on-site at the DHA Karachi office and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Experience in counseling, education consulting, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
