Adnan Corporation Orient Lighting is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design. This role requires managing SMT production lines while overseeing the complete PCB design process. The engineer will lead a team of four professionals focused on producing high-quality electronic components. A strong foundation in PCB layout design, schematic capture, and thermal management is essential to successfully deliver functional and reliable electronic assemblies. The candidate will collaborate closely with production and testing teams to ensure proper component handling, assembly, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of experience in PCB design and SMT manufacturing processes. Deep expertise with PCB layout software such as Altium Designer and proficiency in generating manufacturing files like Gerber are mandatory. This role demands a problem-solving mindset oriented towards continuous process improvement and quality control. Knowledge of heat sink design, solder paste stenciling, and electro-thermal modeling will contribute to optimizing the production quality and efficiency of electronic systems developed by Adnan Corporation Orient Lighting.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise SMT production lines to ensure efficient and timely assembly of PCBs.
  • Design PCB layouts using industry-standard software, including generating accurate Gerber files for manufacturing.
  • Perform schematic capture to translate electronic circuit designs into detailed PCB layouts.
  • Evaluate component placement and optimize layouts for signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with procurement and assembly teams to oversee component selection, handling procedures, and SMT assembly processes.
  • Implement solder paste stenciling techniques and ensure proper application to avoid defects during soldering.
  • Conduct thermal analysis and design heat sinks or other cooling solutions to maintain device reliability.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and fault analysis on assembled PCBs to resolve defects and improve yield rates.
  • Develop electro-thermal models to predict performance and guide design decisions regarding heat dissipation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of four engineers and technicians; assign tasks and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, production activities, and testing results for compliance and product traceability.
  • Continuously refine SMT processes and PCB designs to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase production efficiency.
