We are seeking a proficient Adobe Commerce Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site contractual basis in Islamabad. This mid-level role requires 2 to 3 years of experience and a background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) applications, ensuring scalable and reliable e-commerce solutions. This position demands strong technical skills, a solid understanding of software engineering best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 applications, including modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs.
- Customize storefront components such as checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows to meet business requirements.
- Develop and integrate REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs to extend platform functionality.
- Integrate Adobe Commerce with ERP systems, payment gateways, shipping services, and other enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues promptly.
- Optimize application, database, and cache performance for enhanced efficiency.
- Adhere to Adobe Commerce coding standards and implement security best practices throughout development.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Support software deployments, releases, and resolve production issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions on schedule.
- Stay current with Adobe Commerce development trends and incorporate relevant improvements.
- Keep updated with Flutter and mobile development best practices and apply them where applicable.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 development.
- Strong expertise in developing and customizing modules, plugins, observers, and scheduled jobs within Adobe Commerce.
- Proven experience in customizing storefront features including checkout, catalog, pricing, promotions, and order workflows.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating REST, GraphQL, and third-party APIs.
- Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Composer, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience integrating Adobe Commerce with ERP, payment, shipping, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize application performance.
- Familiarity with Adobe Commerce coding standards and security protocols.
- Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud-based environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of AEM–Adobe Commerce integration using CIF is a plus.
- Adobe Commerce certification will be considered an advantage.
