We are seeking a skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. You will collaborate with our design and development teams to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on client specifications.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and meet project requirements.
- Perform website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks as needed.
- Optimize website performance, security, and SEO.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest WordPress development trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of two years of onsite experience in WordPress development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Extensive experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Enfold & Avada themes.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with server management and hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, cPanel).
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
