Afridi Workshop is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer Electrical Technician with at least two years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical testing and troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reading electrical schematics, as well as proficient knowledge of programmable logic controllers. The position requires managing a team of 20 persons, leading projects, and coordinating activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. The Electrical Engineer Electrical Technician will play a critical role in supporting the workshop's operational goals through effective maintenance and upgrades of electrical equipment. This includes diagnosing electrical issues, implementing preventive measures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The candidate will also collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to optimize electrical system designs and enhance overall equipment reliability and performance.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 20 electrical technicians and engineers to complete daily electrical maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting to identify faults in electrical systems and equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
  • Read, interpret, and utilize electrical schematics and blueprints to support repair and installation activities.
  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers to ensure efficient automation and control operations.
  • Ensure all electrical work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production workflows.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Monitor electrical system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as needed.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to team members to enhance skill development and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage inventory of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts to ensure availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical failures and implement corrective actions to restore operations.
  • Participate in the design review process and provide input on electrical systems to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate new electrical technologies and recommend adoption to improve workshop operations.
