Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating a drone, controlling a drone, taking it off, keeping on course, performing missions and landing safely.
- Figuring out what type of equipment to use.
- Cleaning and disassembling hardware.
- Setting up and tearing down cameras, audio recorders, lighting, microphones, and props.
- Calibrating and maintaining equipment.
- Troubleshoots problems with the equipment.
- Interviewing people and creating a film clip via editing raw footage.
- Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
- Adding computer graphics and special effects to a video
- Capturing and processing images until you achieve desired results
- Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
- Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc)
- Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications
- Archive photographic images and maintain a database
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Able to demonstrate professionally flying drones for the last three years
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Organization skills to manage their time efficiently
- Flexibility and good listening skills
- Enough patience to wait for the perfect shot
- Energy and determination
- Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
- Must know computerized editing software and equipment
- Can work in a variety of digital venues with software to edit
- Passionate about the perfect picture or video shot
- Proven professional shooting experience
- Eye-catching portfolio
- Proficient with traditional and modern equipment
- Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One or other photography-specific software
- Shooting, lighting and printing skills
- Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques
- Knowledge of production process for online publishing and various printing applications
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Degree in relevant field with various certifications
- Overall, a minimum of 5years’ of experience
