- The ideal candidate must hold at least a Master’s degree and have a minimum of 5 years of teaching / educational management experience at an institution of good repute.
- The individual should have effective communication and classroom management skills, as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and proven experience of working with parents and the community is desirable.

Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKES,P) is a network of educational institutions that combines the operation of 159 schools and 5 hostels with the management of programmes to enhance the quality of teachers, academic resources and learning environments in Pakistan through community partnerships and long-term interventions. It is one of the largest third-sector networks of educational institutions in Pakistan and part of an international network of over 200 schools spread in 8 countries of the world under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Reaching out to the remotest areas of the country, AKES,P has been providing quality education in the region for the past 110 years. It is a direct provider of education for nearly 36,000 students from pre-primary to higher secondary levels and facilitates access to higher education through the provision of scholarships, hostels and other educational support services.With more than 2,000 employees, of whom over 1,500 areteachers, AKES,P is also supported by over 2,000 volunteers. In Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, the first AKES,P schools were setup in the 1940s; since then they have contributed significantly toincreasing the literacy rates and social development in theremote, mountainous, harsh and ecologically fragile regions ofNorthern Pakistan.
