Agentic Software Engineer (Cursor) - Remote - India

Key Responsibilities
As an Agentic Software Engineer (Cursor), you will work closely with U.S.-based clients on a flexible, project-based basis. You will be embedded within client teams, collaborating daily with their designers and engineers. Your role involves coordinating AI-driven software development across complex, multi-file systems while maintaining architectural oversight. You will translate complex product requirements into AI-friendly, machine-executable specifications and design AI-first development workflows from specification through deployment. Additionally, you will apply disciplined human-in-the-loop review practices, ensuring risk-adjusted validation for critical flows. Continuous improvement of AI-generated output through structured iteration and feedback loops will be essential. You will work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure stacks, leveraging AI to deliver high-quality, production-ready systems. Participation in Agile team ceremonies and asynchronous work is expected.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with strong knowledge of full-stack architectures such as Java, Python, C#, React, and Node.js.
- 1 to 3 years of experience using Cursor as a primary development environment to manage AI-driven implementations.
- Proven track record of delivering production software where AI systems generate the majority of implementation code.
- Expertise in context engineering, including structuring codebases, specifications, and documentation to optimize AI output reliability.
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into AI-executable specifications.
- Experience designing AI-first development workflows from specification to deployment.
- Skilled in iterative improvement of AI-generated code through feedback loops.
- Comfortable working across multiple technology stacks in AI-accelerated environments.
- Experience with disciplined human-in-the-loop review and risk-adjusted validation for safety-critical processes.
- Strong curiosity and initiative in adopting emerging AI-native engineering practices.
- Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies and Lean principles.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree.
- Positive mindset with a can-do attitude and dedication to client goals.
- Ability to commit to a consistent 40-hour workweek.
- Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the country of the job posting. FullStack does not sponsor work visas.
