HRT Consultants is a technology company focused on developing smart, data-driven software solutions. We are currently seeking an AI Application Engineer to lead the development of the AI layer for our product, AI Lister. Built on the MERN stack, this platform requires an expert to design and implement intelligent features such as a competitor analysis engine that identifies true marketplace competitors, compares listings, and recommends competitive pricing. Additionally, you will develop an automated listing generator that creates optimized product listings efficiently. This role offers significant ownership, allowing you to build the core AI system of a live product from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
- Build large language model (LLM)-powered features and integrate them with the existing MERN platform via APIs.
- Develop a competitor-matching system using LLMs, embeddings, and similarity search techniques.
- Create pricing recommendation algorithms based on competitor data analysis.
- Design and implement an automated generator for product titles, descriptions, and item specifics.
- Fine-tune models such as OpenAI, Llama, and Mistral, including preparing and managing training datasets.
- Engineer effective prompts and utilize structured JSON outputs to ensure reliable and consistent results.
- Continuously evaluate model accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and optimize for cost and latency.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience building applications based on large language models.
- Strong proficiency in Python; experience with Node.js or JavaScript is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs.
- Practical knowledge of fine-tuning techniques such as LoRA/QLoRA, OpenAI fine-tuning, or Hugging Face frameworks.
- Solid understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or equivalents.
- Comfortable building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with eBay, Amazon, or Shopify listing data is advantageous.
- Background in web scraping and managing data pipelines.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and the MERN stack.
- Experience deploying models using Docker and cloud GPU environments.

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience, ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs80,000 per month.
