AI Automation Specialist

Pavago is seeking an experienced AI Automation Specialist to join a client’s team in a full-time, remote role aligned with U.S. business hours. This position focuses on designing, building, and maintaining AI-driven automation systems that streamline operations and reduce manual tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI integrations, workflow automation, APIs, and business process optimization. You will collaborate across multiple departments including operations, customer support, marketing, CRM, reporting, onboarding, and internal systems to develop scalable automation solutions that enhance efficiency and deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Analysis & Automation: Evaluate existing business workflows to identify opportunities for automation. Design and implement AI-powered workflows that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Replace repetitive manual tasks with automated processes.

- AI Workflow Development: Develop and maintain automation workflows using platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate. Integrate AI models including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and other AI APIs. Automate processes across various functions such as operations, customer support, marketing, HR, reporting, CRM, and lead management.

- Systems Integration: Connect different platforms through APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations to ensure seamless and reliable data flow. Troubleshoot issues and maintain the reliability of automation systems.

- Workflow Optimization: Monitor the performance and uptime of automation workflows. Continuously refine and improve workflows for speed, scalability, and maintainability based on evolving business needs and user feedback.

- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation covering workflows, integrations, APIs, and automation logic. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reference guides to support ongoing use and maintenance of automation systems.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in building workflow automation and AI-powered business processes.
- Hands-on expertise with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
- Experience integrating AI APIs like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, automation logic, and data structures.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, or other databases.
- Experience integrating CRM and project management platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ClickUp, or Monday.com.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI optimization techniques, robotic process automation (RPA), and tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere.

Interview Process

The selection process includes an initial recruiter screening, a video interview with a Pavago recruiter, a practical automation assessment, a client interview, and finally, an offer and onboarding phase.
