AI Automation Specialist

WarriorBabe is seeking an experienced AI Automation Specialist to independently design, build, and maintain AI agents and automation workflows that enhance team efficiency across departments. This role involves close collaboration with department leaders to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver practical, reliable solutions using tools such as n8n, Claude, OpenAI, Python, and JavaScript. The successful candidate will take full ownership of their systems, ensuring they are adopted, maintained, and continuously improved to drive measurable business impact. This is a fully remote, full-time position requiring overlap with Eastern Time working hours.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and Own Opportunities
Work directly with department leaders to understand their workflows, challenges, and goals. Proactively propose automation and AI solutions that simplify complex processes. Define project scope, success criteria, and delivery plans while coordinating priorities with the technology lead. Track adoption and evaluate whether solutions effectively address the underlying problems.

Build AI Agents and Automations
Design, develop, test, and refine AI agents and automation workflows, including knowledge-base and business-system agents integrated with relevant tools and data sources. Develop API integrations, webhooks, and custom code as needed, handling authentication, data formats, rate limits, and error management. Validate outputs against expectations and improve solutions based on feedback. Support the technology team by sharing best practices and assisting with other builds.

Ensure Production Reliability
Monitor and troubleshoot deployed systems, investigate failures or data inconsistencies, and respond promptly to urgent issues. Implement features such as retries, duplicate prevention, logging, alerts, and recovery mechanisms. Manage testing, releases, and documentation, maintaining clear records of system purpose, architecture, configuration, and support procedures. Safeguard credentials and sensitive data, and communicate incidents, progress, and risks clearly to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to independently design, build, and maintain complex production automations and AI-powered systems, with clear explanations of personal contributions, technical decisions, testing strategies, and failure handling. Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting production workflows. Practical knowledge of AI models such as Claude, OpenAI, or GLM for solution development and output evaluation. Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for integrations, scripting, and workflow logic. Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, JSON, rate limits, and robust error handling. Strong technical judgment to simplify processes and deliver maintainable solutions efficiently. Excellent communication skills and initiative, comfortable collaborating directly with business leaders and documenting work. Ability to work independently in a remote setting with Eastern Time overlap.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with HubSpot workflows and CRM data, Supabase, and n8n is highly desirable. Familiarity with integrating multiple business systems, including CRMs, databases, communication platforms, and third-party applications. Knowledge of other automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or HubSpot workflows. Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools is a plus.
