AI Automation Specialist

We are seeking a full-time AI Automation Specialist to join a chemical testing and metallurgy laboratory based in Karachi, Pakistan. This on-site role involves developing and maintaining AI-driven workflows, APIs, integrations, scripts, and process automations to enhance laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, particularly in programming and automation, and will work primarily during the morning shift. The position offers a competitive salary range of PKR 75,000 to 150,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-assisted workflows to optimize laboratory processes.
- Create and manage APIs and integrations that support seamless data exchange between systems.
- Write and maintain scripts using Python or JavaScript to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
- Handle data processing and ensure accuracy and integrity in automated workflows.
- Develop prompt designs and improve existing workflows to maximize productivity and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure continuous operation and address any issues promptly.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript programming languages.
- Experience with automation platforms and tools relevant to AI and process automation.
- Strong understanding of data handling, including data processing and management within automated systems.
- Demonstrated ability in designing prompts and improving AI-assisted workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
