Gulf Desk Services is launching a new AI consulting practice based in Lahore, Pakistan, serving clients across the UAE and the GCC region. This role focuses on guiding organizations at the early stages of AI adoption, where processes are often undocumented and teams have limited AI experience. The primary goal is to provide advisory and educational support that helps clients understand where AI can genuinely enhance their operations and build their confidence in applying AI solutions. This is a hands-on position involving direct client interaction, training, and solution development. As the founding role in the practice, you will have significant influence in shaping its growth and operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Coaching and Enablement: Lead client education initiatives to drive AI adoption. Design and deliver training sessions and presentations tailored to teams in finance, operations, sales, and administration. Work closely with client staff at all technical levels to ensure they can confidently apply AI in their daily work. Success is measured by sustained adoption after training.

- Client Advisory: Conduct discovery sessions with business owners and department heads to understand operational workflows and identify opportunities where AI can deliver measurable improvements. Provide clear, honest assessments and recommendations, including advising when AI is not the appropriate solution.

- Solution Demonstration: Develop proof-of-concept AI solutions to demonstrate value and build credibility, helping secure client buy-in.

- Delivery Oversight: Define project scope for automation and technical work, coordinate with engineers to ensure solutions meet client expectations, and maintain accountability for final deliverables.

- AI & Automation Solution Design: Architect AI-powered workflows, intelligent agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, document processing pipelines, and automation frameworks. Utilize technologies such as OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, n8n, Make, Zapier, vector databases, and integrations with CRM, ERP, HRMS, and telephony platforms. Define implementation scope, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.

- Role Development: Initially focused on direct coaching and advisory, the role will expand to include scoping engagements, directing delivery teams, and contributing to team growth and hiring as the client base increases.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrable experience building AI solutions, with the ability to clearly explain your work.

- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AI, intelligent automation, or workflow automation.

- Strong understanding of business operations and processes, capable of assessing workflows to identify where technology adds value.

- Experience integrating APIs, webhooks, and enterprise systems.

- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, HRMS, or telephony/contact-center platforms.

- Knowledge of RAG systems and vector databases.

- Fluent and professional business English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to present and lead discussions with non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven experience in training, coaching, or client education.

- Ability to manage projects end-to-end with minimal supervision, from problem definition through delivery.

- Based in Lahore or willing to relocate, with working hours overlapping the GCC business day.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience training client teams, mentoring colleagues, or leading cross-functional work without direct reporting lines.

- Exposure to ERP or business systems implementation.

- Prior client-facing consulting experience, especially with SME clients.

Work Location: This is an in-person role based in Lahore.
