Remote Solutions is looking for a talented AI Engineer to join their international team developing an AI-driven data platform designed specifically for mid-sized enterprises. This full-time position is based onsite in Islamabad (I-8 Markaz) and offers a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of AI technology. Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement core AI services that enable natural language interaction with data. Develop and maintain FastAPI-based services to ensure efficient data processing and delivery. Utilize LangChain to orchestrate workflows powered by large language models (LLMs), integrating with providers such as OpenAI and Mistral to enhance AI capabilities. Manage document vectorization and embeddings sourced from platforms like Google Drive, OneDrive, and SQL databases. Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to expose AI functionalities through APIs. Optimize AI inference pipelines to guarantee scalability and low latency performance.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience building AI or machine learning services in production environments. Proficiency in Python, especially with the FastAPI framework, is essential. Hands-on experience with LangChain and orchestration of large language models is required. Familiarity with embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques is important. Experience working with both structured and unstructured enterprise data is expected. A strong passion for applying AI to solve real-world problems is necessary. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year of experience working with LLMs is required. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Islamabad prior to starting work.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Contributions to open-source AI or LLM tooling projects are highly valued. Experience in prompt engineering or designing custom AI agent workflows will be considered an advantage. Understanding of AI observability and performance optimization techniques is preferred. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs300,000 to Rs600,000.
