Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and fine-tune natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI models, including large language models (LLMs), embeddings, and transformers.
- Preprocess, clean, tokenize, and analyze text datasets for various NLP applications.
- Integrate APIs from OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or similar LLM-based services into web and mobile applications.
- Build and optimize prompt engineering workflows, embeddings-based search systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and conversational AI solutions.
- Deploy NLP and LLM models, monitor their performance, and improve response quality.
- Research emerging AI and LLM technologies from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google, and share insights with the team.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to design intelligent AI-driven features and prototypes.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of NLP concepts including tokenization, attention mechanisms, transformers, embeddings, and text classification/generation.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with NLP/AI libraries such as HuggingFace Transformers, spaCy, NLTK, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Experience integrating OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs, including ChatCompletions, Assistants, Embeddings, and Fine-Tuning.
- Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases like Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, or Chroma, and prompt engineering best practices.
- Knowledge of model evaluation techniques for NLP such as BLEU, ROUGE, perplexity, and embedding similarity.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for NLP and generative AI research.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, especially for deploying AI workloads, is beneficial.
- This is a full-time, in-person role offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs40,000 to Rs60,000.
