This remote, client-facing position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions for US-based clients. The role involves working on practical data science and machine learning projects, engaging directly with clients through interviews, technical discussions, project planning, and solution presentations. Key Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into effective data science and machine learning solutions. Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical analysis to uncover insights. Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models using techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, natural language processing (NLP), and predictive modeling. Design experiments and A/B tests to measure model performance and business impact. Deploy models into production environments and monitor their ongoing performance. Identify and resolve data quality issues to continuously improve model accuracy. Communicate technical solutions, methodologies, and project outcomes clearly to US clients. Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience with strong expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning will also be considered. At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles. Proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, as well as SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks like Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Solid understanding of statistics, model evaluation, feature engineering, and optimization techniques. Experience deploying machine learning models and familiarity with MLOps practices. Comfortable working with large datasets and cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, and Databricks. Skilled in data visualization tools including Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, and dashboard creation. Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage US clients during video meetings and technical interviews. Ability to explain technical projects, methodologies, results, and business impact clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), time-series forecasting, and recommendation systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud machine learning platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, and Google Vertex AI is a plus. Previous client-facing, consulting, or remote engineering experience is advantageous.
