Edversity, a division of the Rapidev Group of Companies based in Faisalabad, is seeking a dedicated AI Instructor to join its full-time, onsite team. Edversity specializes in delivering practical, industry-focused IT training through physical classes designed to equip young individuals with the skills needed for technology jobs and freelancing. The AI Instructor will be responsible for teaching trainees a wide range of Artificial Intelligence skills, starting from Python fundamentals to developing Generative AI applications. This role involves leading daily lectures and hands-on labs, helping beginners complete real-world AI projects to build their portfolios and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily lectures and practical lab sessions following the approved curriculum.
- Simplify complex AI concepts into clear, manageable steps suitable for trainees with little or no prior AI experience.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, presentation slides, coding notebooks, assignments, and quizzes.
- Guide trainees through mini-projects and a final capstone project to demonstrate their learning.
- Monitor attendance, assess trainee progress, and submit regular reports to the program management team.
- Conduct additional support sessions for trainees who need extra help to keep up with the coursework.
- Continuously update course materials to incorporate the latest AI tools and recommend improvements.
- Advise trainees on building portfolios, maintaining GitHub profiles, and exploring job or freelancing opportunities.
- Assist with assessments, audits, and program reviews to maintain high training standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML or AI application development.
- Proficiency in Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn; working knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch frameworks.
- Practical experience with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, LangChain or LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
- Demonstrated experience deploying at least one AI model or application in a real-world setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly in both English and Urdu.
- Patience and a genuine passion for teaching beginners and supporting their learning journey.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A public GitHub repository or portfolio showcasing AI projects.
- Relevant certifications such as TensorFlow Developer, Azure AI Engineer, or AWS Machine Learning.
- Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring roles is highly desirable.
