AI Trainer - Audio Speech Recognition (Punjabi)

We are currently seeking language professionals fluent in Punjabi who can accurately transcribe spoken audio clips. This role involves carefully listening to conversations, understanding the context, and producing precise written transcripts with correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. Your contributions will support the enhancement of AI systems in recognizing and interpreting human speech.

Key Responsibilities:
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe spoken Punjabi into written text with high accuracy.
- Identify words, phrases, and sentences while preserving the original meaning and context.
- Ensure transcripts adhere to specified spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting standards.
- Recognize diverse speech patterns, accents, pronunciation variations, and natural conversational nuances.
- Review transcripts thoroughly to correct any missing words, misheard phrases, or transcription errors.
- Follow project-specific guidelines to maintain consistency and deliver high-quality output.
- Manage challenging audio segments, including unclear speech and background noise, using established transcription procedures.
- Contribute to the advancement of AI-powered speech recognition and language technologies through your work.

Required Qualifications:
- Native or fluent proficiency in Punjabi and English.
- Strong listening comprehension skills with the ability to accurately understand spoken language.
- Excellent written language abilities, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- High attention to detail and concentration for reviewing audio recordings carefully.
- Previous experience in audio transcription, speech recognition, data annotation, translation, linguistic evaluation, or quality assurance is advantageous.

This is a freelance, remote position requiring availability for 5-6 hours per day with flexible working hours. The initial engagement is for one month, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
