Nexterse, a progressive digital solutions company specializing in AI/ML development, custom software, CRM, UI/UX design, and cloud technologies, is offering an engaging AI/ML Intern position based in Lahore. This on-site internship spans three months, with working hours from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. The role provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience by collaborating closely with AI professionals on real-world machine learning projects. Interns will have the chance to contribute meaningfully while enhancing their technical skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing datasets necessary for effective model training.
- Support the development, testing, and evaluation of machine learning models using Python frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Conduct experiments and fine-tune models to improve accuracy and performance based on project requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest AI/ML trends and research, actively sharing insights during team meetings.
- Document workflows clearly and assist in creating technical reports and presentations to communicate findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, including regression, classification, and neural networks.
- Familiarity with essential ML libraries and tools such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently during evening hours on-site.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience with projects involving Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Recommendation Systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of version control systems like Git and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with data visualization tools is also beneficial.
