Aitmaad Builders and Developers Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience in road sector projects. The ideal candidate has a decade of professional background in cost estimation, tendering, and quantity takeoff with strong expertise in preparing and interpreting Bills of Quantities for various construction projects. This role demands accuracy in preparing Interim Payment Certificates to ensure financial precision and project success. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as MS Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu is essential. Candidates should hold a diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field and have proven expertise in cost control and construction cost management to monitor budgets and expenditures effectively. The position does not require team management but focuses on delivering high-quality quantity surveying services to support project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for road sector construction projects to support budgeting and tendering processes.
- Develop, interpret, and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Manage the preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) to maintain accurate financial records and facilitate timely project payments.
- Conduct value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or timelines.
- Utilize quantity surveying and cost estimating software, including MS Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in project documentation.
- Implement construction cost control mechanisms, monitor project budgets, and track expenditures to ensure projects remain within financial targets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to collect and verify data for quantity surveying tasks and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction documentation related to cost and quantity aspects for audits and project records.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying and construction cost management.
- Provide technical advice and support on quantity surveying matters throughout the project lifecycle to contribute to successful project delivery.
