Accountant

Ajaib Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in accounting and administration. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and demonstrates strong proficiency with accounting-related computer software. This role involves managing a team of 8 members, overseeing various accounting functions, and ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. The Accountant will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support the companys financial health and strategic decisions.

The Accountant leads the accounting team to maintain the integrity of financial data through meticulous management of accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and expense tracking. The role requires a deep understanding of audit processes, internal control frameworks, and financial statement analysis to provide insights that drive efficiency and accuracy. This position demands proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, to streamline accounting operations and reporting tasks.
Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting team consisting of 8 members, ensuring high-quality financial data management and timely processing.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to support organizational planning and compliance requirements.
Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate financial information.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Implement and monitor internal controls and audit procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable recommendations for budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Utilize accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks to record financial transactions efficiently and generate reports.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits to provide required documentation and explanations.
Manage expense reports and verify the accuracy and legitimacy of expenditures in adherence to company policies.
Continuously improve accounting procedures and technology use to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Train, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster professional growth and ensure adherence to best practices.
