Job Summary:
• We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker Sales Agent.
• This is an opportunity for someone to run our Brokerage and grow.
• Respond to customers' needs and build strong relationships.
• Track and report shipments.
• Build carrier relations.
• Ensure proper account setup.
• Negotiate and secure carriers to move freight in a timely and cost-effective manner while cultivating strong core carrier relationships.
• Develop and increase profitable volume with existing and newly acquired shippers
• Ability to expand and grow a book of business and client relationships
• Schedule pick-up and delivery appointment times; must have insight into all factors affecting timeframe (weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.).
