As a 3D modeler you will be responsible for creating virtual worlds and characters. You will be breathing life into sketches and concept art. You will be working in a team with lots of other talented artists, engineers and programmers. You must be well versed with industry standard 3D modeling programs and tools. Good spatial skills and a well honed sense of color and design will help you succeed in this job.
- Building clean highly animate-able topology with the ability to give and receive feedback.
- Expert in 3D Max & quick renders completion.
- Must be able to create believable models that are full of life and personality in high-polyand low-poly models as well as textures.
- The ability to adapt to and innovate new styles and techniques Strong organic modeling skills.
- Strong hard-surface modeling skills.
- Some familiarity with animation techniques.
- An eye for detail and good visualization skills.
- Knowledge of major 3D software packages (Swift 3D, Maya, Max and ZBrush etc.)
- Experience managing content and developing pipelines Experience painting textures in Photoshop and/or Substance Painter/Designer, from hand or based on texture reference, tuning (or creating) surface shaders for real-time rendered characters, and skin weighting, rigging, and animation Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Responsible for animating 3D character models in a realistic game, including working with motion capture data, hand key frame animations and facial/lip synch animations.
- Work with artists, animators and programmers to execute projects on time
- Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modeling tools and technologies
