We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer Intern to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of web development and hands-on experience working with WordPress, particularly using page builders like WPBakery and Elementor. Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using WPBakery and Elementor page builders.
- Translate design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages.
- Identify and troubleshoot website issues, including plugin conflicts, layout bugs, and functionality errors.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.
- Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement new features and improve user experience.
- Support the team in managing website backups, updates, and basic security protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with WPBakery Page Builder and Elementor.
- Good understanding of the WordPress CMS, including themes and plugins.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with other page builders (e.g., Gutenberg, Beaver Builder) or custom block development.
- Basic knowledge of PHP for theme and plugin customization.
- Experience using version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of SEO best practices in web development.
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
- 0-6 months of relevant experience in web development with a focus on WordPress.
- A portfolio or examples of completed projects using WPBakery and/or Elementor is required.
