Job Purpose
The Recovery Officer is responsible for the collection of Regular payments & debts prior to legal recovery proceedings commencing, negotiating payments/payment arrangements and handling debtor inquiries.
Job Description / Responsibilities
Their work includes: -

  • Dealing with recovery of installment from clients on daily basis.
  • Dealing with recovery of loans from employees.
  • Ensure recovery from the outstanding amount to ensure achievement of monthly targets.
  • Ensure that company’s data confidentiality is maintained at highest level
  • Leading launch FIR against those clients/ ex-employees who refused to pay against their outstanding balance with support of legal department and sales department.
  • Co-ordinate with legal department on regular basis and follow up on legal suit file cases and arrest warrants.
  • Ensure account level review to provide alternate negotiation channels to boost recovery & Updating the portfolio on regular basis.
  • Provide feedback to designated authorities regarding client’s issues / offers. Handle client(s) complaints and provide instant solution & responsible for record keeping of the documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance to fair debt collection practices as per prevailing law and Company policies.
Qualification and Skills
  • Requirements include: -
  • Graduate/ Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Negotiation skills
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in relevant capacity
  • Exemplary writing and editing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of company procedures
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
  • Outstanding communication skills
