We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Receiving Manager to oversee the receiving process in our retail warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming stock is received, inspected, and processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Receiving Process: Oversee the receiving process, including verifying shipments against documentation, inspecting stock for damage or discrepancies, and processing stock into the warehouse management system.
2. Manage Receiving Team: Manage a team of receiving staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
3. Ensure Compliance with Procedures: Ensure that all receiving staff comply with established procedures and policies, including safety protocols and quality control measures.
4. Investigate and Resolve Discrepancies: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments, including damages, shortages, or overages.
5. Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments, including documentation, inspection reports, and inventory records.
6. Collaborate with Warehouse Team: Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure that stock is properly stored and maintained and that inventory levels are accurately reflected in the warehouse management system.
7. Implement Process Improvements: Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and accuracy in the receiving process.
Requirements:
1. Graduation or above in ra related field /supply chain.
2. At least 3 years of experience in receiving or warehouse management, preferably in a retail or logistics environment.
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
4. Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
5. Knowledge of warehouse management systems, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping processes.
Nice to Have:
1. Certification in supply chain management or logistics
2. Experience with inventory management software
3. Knowledge of quality control and assurance, including procedures for inspecting and processing stock
