As a BIM Modeller Electrical at Al Ghurair Group, you will focus on developing precise and coordinated electrical models for various substation projects. This role does not involve team management but requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. You will extract shop drawings, prepare substation schematic diagrams, and perform clash detection processes to ensure seamless coordination with other disciplines. The role demands rigorous compliance with project standards and standards updates, ensuring deliverables meet project timelines and quality expectations. Collaborating with engineering, construction, and project management teams, you will contribute to efficient project execution and delivery.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate 3D electrical models for HV, MV, and LV substation projects using Revit and Navisworks.
Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts to ensure compatibility across multiple disciplines.
Create detailed 2D drawings and shop drawings extracted from 3D models for construction and fabrication purposes.
Produce and update substation Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and detailed substation schematics in compliance with project standards.
Ensure all models and documents comply with DEWA, SEWA, TAQA, TRANSCO, ADDC-ADWEA, IEC, IEEE, and NFPA codes and standards.
Adhere to the Common Data Environment (CDE) naming conventions and file protocols to maintain document control and consistency.
Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in models and drawings.
Coordinate electrical discipline inputs with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery and minimize construction risk.
Utilize Autodesk Forma (CDE) for project collaboration and document management.
Communicate effectively in English to report progress, clarify technical issues, and participate in project meetings.
