Al-Shams Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our Employee. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test software applications according to Employee requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to analyze needs and develop effective solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate programming languages and tools.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of software applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, including automation and efficiency enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and maintaining code quality standards.
- Maintain technical documentation for software applications, including user manuals and technical specifications.
- Support clients in deploying and maintaining software applications, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
- Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience with front-end and back-end development, including frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, or Django.
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with mobile application development (iOS, Android) and/or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter).
