Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager Finance - Reporting to oversee and manage the financial reporting functions across multiple allied hospital branches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial activities comply with company policies while maintaining operational consistency. This role demands expertise in preparing detailed monthly financial reports, managing both monthly and yearly financial closing processes, and providing clear visibility into hospital performance to senior management. The candidate will lead a small team of two, fostering accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in financial reporting and analysis within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Assistant Manager Finance must be highly skilled in using Oracle ERP systems and SAP ERP for handling complex financial data. A strong background in financial analysis, statement preparation, and advanced Excel financial modeling is essential to drive effective decision-making. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication are critical for articulating financial insights clearly and collaborating with multiple hospital branches. Candidates should hold an MBA in Finance, CMA, or be CA-Part Qualified, with a minimum of six years relevant experience demonstrating the ability to manage financial systems and lead a small team effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor all financial activities across allied hospital branches to maintain operational consistency and ensure strict compliance with organizational policies.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports covering all allied hospital branches, providing management with clear and actionable insights into financial performance.
  • Manage the entire monthly and yearly closing cycles, ensuring timely, accurate, and systematic completion of all accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Lead a team of two finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Implement and maintain controls over financial data entry and reporting processes, securing data integrity and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Collaborate closely with hospital leadership and various departments to consolidate financial data and support strategic decision-making.
  • Utilize Oracle ERP and SAP ERP systems to streamline financial operations, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance data consolidation.
  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel models to perform financial analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and forecasting to support business objectives.
  • Communicate financial results effectively to stakeholders, explaining variances, trends, and financial risks in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary reports, reconciliations, and documentation to internal and external auditors.
  • Stay updated with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in finance functions.
