The candidate will lead a team of 10 professionals, driving performance excellence and process improvements aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
The successful candidate demonstrates a strong command of ERP systems, preferably Oracle Financials, and possesses advanced IT proficiency to enhance financial reporting and operational processes. This role demands effective stakeholder management, sophisticated financial modeling, and expertise in governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. The General Manager Operations Finance collaborates closely with executive leadership to provide clear financial insights and optimize business processes for sustainable growth and regulatory adherence, ensuring the organization meets its mission with financial integrity and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the finance and operations team of 10, providing guidance, setting goals, and ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial planning and analysis strategies to support organizational objectives and decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to maintain financial discipline and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict regulatory compliance through regular audits and adherence to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks, including enterprise risk management and policy management.
- Drive the optimization of business processes and financial operations for enhanced effectiveness and cost control.
- Manage risk by developing and sustaining the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework and employing GRC software tools to monitor compliance and governance activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including executive leadership, to present financial reports and insights that inform strategic planning and operational adjustments.
- Lead financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
- Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health and operational performance across departments.
- Guide financial modeling efforts to evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with IT and finance teams to maintain and enhance ERP system capabilities, with a focus on Oracle Financials, to support seamless financial transactions and reporting.
- Facilitate regulatory compliance auditing, preparing all necessary documentation and responses to external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices within the finance and operations teams.
- Ensure alignment of financial and operational strategies with the hospitals mission, vision, and values to support sustainable growth and quality patient care.
