Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital seeks a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Pharmacist with at least four years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control. The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a relevant science degree. This role focuses on overseeing chemical, physical, and instrumental analyses to ensure product integrity and compliance with stringent pharmaceutical standards. The candidate will play a critical role in maintaining laboratory accuracy by managing instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and validation activities. They will ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and regulatory guidelines while supporting the laboratorys quality assurance objectives.
The Senior Quality Control Pharmacist will rigorously investigate deviations such as Out-of-Specification and Out-of-Trend results in collaboration with the Quality Control Manager. Although this role does not involve team management, mentorship responsibilities include guiding junior analysts by reviewing analytical data, worksheets, and Certificates of Analysis. The pharmacist ensures the integrity and accuracy of all laboratory operations, contributing to the hospitals commitment to providing safe and effective pharmaceutical products.
