AlgGrow Media is seeking a skilled Video Editor with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate specializes in both short-form and long-form video content, with a strong focus on producing high-retention vertical videos. This role demands advanced proficiency in leading industry software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro (mandatory). The Video Editor will work closely with creative departments to produce visually compelling and engaging video content that aligns with AlgGrow Media's brand and audience expectations. The role involves not only editing footage but also applying color correction, motion graphics, audio editing, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the final product.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video, applying expert color grading techniques and ensuring consistency throughout each project. While this position does not involve managing a team, it requires effective collaboration with content creators, producers, and other stakeholders to meet project goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos suitable for various platforms, ensuring clarity, pacing, and visual appeal.
Apply color correction and advanced color grading techniques to enhance the mood, tone, and aesthetics of the video content.
Create and integrate motion graphics and visual effects that support and enhance the storytelling elements of each video.
Perform meticulous audio editing, including syncing sound, adjusting levels, and adding effects to ensure clear and engaging audio quality.
Collaborate effectively with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet or exceed expectations.
Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high quality.
Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and emerging video editing techniques to continually improve work quality and efficiency.
Ensure consistency in visual style and branding across all video content according to AlgGrow Media's guidelines.
Optimize video content for high-retention vertical formats suitable for social media platforms and other digital channels.
Review and revise video content based on feedback from stakeholders to achieve the best final output.
