- The Accounts Manager shall work under direct supervision of the Director AFI.
- Manage and supervise the functional and administrative duties of the Accounts department
- Ensure effective and accurate financial recording, reporting and management (periodic and year-end financial statements, prepare monthly financial reports).
- Ensure compliance to accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance to the legal requirements
- Asset, cash, accounts receivable management (including maintaining fixed assets’ register)
- Maintain relationship with the bank / fortnightly bank reconciliation statements.
- Invoice preparation, dispatch and follow-up of payments from external partners
- Procurement
- FBR tax audit documentation and coordination with Tax consultants, and ensuring compliance with tax authorities
- Preparation and disbursement of salary
- Preparation of draft budgets in close liaison with the management.
- Monitor expenditure and compare with approved budget, prepare adjustments as necessary
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure achieving proper and on-time reporting of reviewed and audited financials
- Undertake proper planning, expenditure tracking and audit of financial resources
- Preparation of monthly cash flow plan
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable among different departments (studies, translation etc.)
- Management of petty cash
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the director.
