Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems compliant with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality standards.
- Oversee inspection processes and quality control activities related to diesel engine parts to ensure conformance with company and customer requirements.
- Conduct detailed root cause analysis of defects and quality issues, formulating effective corrective and preventive actions to address these problems.
- Manage quality documentation, including creating and updating procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals to ensure regulatory compliance and internal consistency.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the quality team, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and professional development.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify quality gaps and implement robust solutions to prevent recurrence of defects.
- Monitor key quality metrics and generate reports to track quality performance, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure all quality processes and activities adhere to safety standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits, both internal and external, to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers regarding quality concerns and resolutions to uphold strong business relationships.
