We are Alvayria. A new technology start-up providing services in web development, data science, and application development. The owner, Alim Ud Din, has worked and continues to work with Fortune 100 companies as his clients, bringing industry experiences and relations to Alvayria. This new start-up is looking to provide small-medium size businesses technology solutions that have been unavailable or too costly for their organizations.
Alvayria is currently in its incubation period, where standards are being derived and target markets being explored. Currently we are looking to hire a rockstar to join us as a ‘Website Developer’. We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of ours and client websites. Web developer responsibilities include building websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. This job will be remote until January 2023, we will be opening our office in Lahore.
Duties will include:
- Design, create, test, and maintain websites for clients
- Collaborate with project coordinator/clients daily to ensure project deadlines
- Present design specs and do POC’s for clients using wireframes, mock webpages, etc.
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Troubleshoot website problems and stress test platforms
- Maintain and update websites, must have a keen eye for website security
- Monitor website traffic and provide analytical reports on sales/traffic
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Nice to have:
· 6mo-2 years of experience
· Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket exposure
· A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, MIS, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related. We will consider other degrees for the right rockstar.
· Experience WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other web technologies
· UX/UI design experience with tools from Adobe or other.
· Know at least one web-backend programming language (Python, Java, PHP, Ruby, or others)
· Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Azure, or other cloud providers (really NICE to have!)
· Familiarity with design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or other design patterns
· Understanding of best web development practices and what production-ready code means
