AM Tax & Compliance

AA Joyland Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join its Finance team as an Assistant Manager (AM) Tax & Compliance. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in taxation, compliance, and tax planning, supported by practical experience gained through CA Articles and work in a reputable audit or tax firm. This role is based in DHA Phase 8, Karachi, offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 150,000 to Rs. 180,000. The position requires a proactive individual capable of managing complex tax matters while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate and indirect tax compliance, ensuring timely filing of all tax returns and statutory submissions.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while maintaining compliance with relevant laws.
- Handle tax audits, assessments, and maintain effective communication with tax authorities.
- Monitor updates and changes in tax legislation, assessing their impact on business operations.
- Maintain robust internal controls to ensure adherence to taxation policies and procedures.
- Provide taxation support and advisory services for new business initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants to resolve taxation issues efficiently.
- Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Required Qualifications:
- CA Finalist, ACCA, ICMA, or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Candidates who have completed or are currently undergoing CA Articles will be preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and compliance.
- Prior experience working with a reputable Audit, Tax, or Advisory firm is highly desirable.
