Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior web developers and project managers to understand website requirements and deliverables.
- Assist in the design and development of web applications and websites, ensuring they are functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in various web languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and potentially server-side languages like PHP, .NET, or Java.
- Implement responsive design techniques to ensure the website functions correctly on all devices and screen sizes.
- Perform routine site maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices for functionality and consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and industry trends, continuously learning and applying new skills.
- Assist in the development of APIs and integration with external services and databases.
- Work with graphic designers to convert designs into visual elements of the website.
- Ensure website performance optimization and compliance with SEO standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Understanding of server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., PHP, ASP.NET, Java, Ruby on Rails).
- Familiarity with database technology, such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
