AMS Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Lead SAP SD Consultant with a strong customer-centric mindset, excellent communication, analytical abilities, and a results-driven approach. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP, capable of collaborating effectively across teams and engaging with senior management. This role demands a solution-focused professional who can design, configure, and support SAP SD business processes while integrating with other core modules such as FICO, PP, MM, and ABAP. A passion for SAP, eagerness to learn, and the ability to translate business needs into IT solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD implementations and provide ongoing support, ensuring adherence to best practices and business requirements.
- Design and configure business scenarios within SAP SD, including integration points with other modules.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications for new developments and change requests.
- Monitor daily ticket queues, analyze issues, provide accurate estimates, and ensure timely resolution based on SLA agreements.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Apply basic debugging skills to support problem-solving efforts.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels, including customer top management, demonstrating strong executive presence.
- Transfer knowledge effectively within the team and stay updated on current SAP trends and technical advancements.
- Coach and mentor team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Support business travel requirements as project-specific travel is mandatory.

Required Qualifications:
- 12 to 15 years of experience working with SAP, with at least 2 to 4 full lifecycle implementations and support projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of business processes and SAP best practices.
- Proven ability to design and configure SAP SD solutions and integrate with other core modules (FICO, PP, MM, ABAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and lead through communication and mentoring.
- Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
