AMS-Power & Industrial Engineering Private Limited requires the services of experienced, hardworking, and well-connected MEP Engineers for Business Development & Proposal roles.
· Develop & execute business development plans & strategies.
· Generate new business leads & inquiries, using all available mediums.
· Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients.
· Regular meeting with potential clients.
· Regular liaison and relationship building with former, current, and future clients.
· Prepare technical and financial bids & proposals, per the RFQ documents.
· Prepare estimates per standard norms and man-hours working.
· Material take off from BOQs, quantities & price re-measurement, project costing, review ITB etc.
· Planning and scheduling of overall project activities.
· Respond to proposal-related queries and negotiate price/projects with the clients.
· Partake in project sites’ monitoring, execution and commissioning when required.
· Monitor projects to ensure progress, quality, and compliance.
· Provide reports on the progress of the project.
Required Skills & Background
· At least 4 years of experience with an MEP company.
· Sound knowledge of all aspects of MEP work: HVAC, electrical, lighting, power, plumbing etc.
· Practical field experience at MEP projects.
· Sound knowledge of various applicable standards in the industry.
· Adept at estimation and costing, preparing comprehensive bids & proposals in response to inquiries.
· Good relationship with equipment vendors.
· Good network of professional contacts within the industry.
· Excellent Communicating skills.
· Possess sound knowledge of MEP installation and civil-related works.
