Main Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile invoices and payments with vendor statements and customer accounts.
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients/customers and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliation.
  • Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, procurement, and operations, to resolve financial discrepancies and issues.

Required Skillset:

  • Experience with tax preparation and filing.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and regulations.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare).
  • Ability to adapt to new accounting software and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve accounting issues efficiently.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or similar position.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a plus.
