We are seeking a Remote Accountant / Bookkeeper with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce. The ideal candidate will possess excellent spoken English skills and advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks is considered a plus.
As a remote work-from-home position, candidates must have a minimum computer configuration that supports the necessary accounting software and virtual collaboration tools. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to work from 7 pm to 3 am PST to our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and financial statements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address accounting-related inquiries.
- Conduct various data analysis projects in Excel / Advance Excel
Requirements:
- Min 1 to 2 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
- Proficiency in spoken English for effective communication.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with QuickBooks (preferred but not mandatory).
- Reliable computer setup to efficiently perform remote accounting tasks.
- Availability to work from 7 pm to 3 am PST.
