About the role

We’re looking for a Treasury Back Office Analyst to handle the processing and settlement of treasury products, including validation, documentation, settlement and accounting. You will make sure all treasury back-office activity follows approved policies and guidelines, and keep banking transactions running without interruption.

What you’ll do

  • Process and settle treasury products with accurate validation, documentation and accounting.
  • Open and close bank accounts, prepare signing mandates, and manage signatory changes with the right authorizations and supporting documents.
  • Manage KYC with banks and business units, including FATCA and CRS compliance.
  • Prepare request letters and documentation for loan drawdowns, rollovers, and early or partial settlements.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and follow up on uncleared receipts and payments.
  • Handle FX and inward/outward remittances, and resolve payment issues with banks.
  • Maintain loan details, monthly repayments, accruals, interest payments and intercompany interest accruals in the system, and keep forex rates updated in the ERP.
  • Verify interest and bank charges, and provide bank balance confirmations to auditors on time.
  • Issue corporate credit cards and E-Dirham cards, and provide monthly statements to users.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and BU finance and operations teams, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Help improve controls and processes: find bottlenecks, streamline workflows, spot automation and digitalization opportunities, and support cost-saving initiatives on bank charges and borrowing interest.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate treasury.
  • Knowledge of international standard banking practices and international trading.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and advanced MS Office, especially Excel.
