Analyst Financial Control

This role is responsible for managing the company’s accounting records and ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations. The position involves overseeing accounting operations, coordinating monthly financial closing activities, and preparing detailed financial reports to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and be capable of analyzing financial data to provide insightful commentary on the company’s financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform monthly closing of the General Ledger (GL) module accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly commentary highlighting the company’s financial performance.
- Develop monthly closing schedules and maintain related working papers.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of monthly financial closing activities.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and conduct detailed financial data analysis.
- Oversee the preparation of income statements and manage financial transactions efficiently.
- Streamline accounting functions and operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by management to support the finance team.

Required Qualifications

- MBA, ACCA, or CA Finalist with a strong academic background.
- Between 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and the UK accounting and tax framework.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with G-Suite tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in performing financial statement analysis and ratio analysis.
- Willingness to work from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
