The Analyzer Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pakistan, responsible for managing the selection, installation, calibration, and maintenance of process analyzers and related instrumentation within industrial settings. This position involves routine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate measurement data to support plant operations. The engineer will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams, prepare technical documentation, support safety and quality compliance, optimize analyzer performance, and contribute to project planning and commissioning activities. Additionally, providing technical guidance to colleagues and clients is a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, install, and commission gas sampling systems, including gas analyzers, natural gas chromatographs (NGCs), and process gas chromatographs (PGCs).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure precise and reliable gas measurement and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and maintain gas chromatographs and associated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for gas analyzers and chromatographs to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform periodic calibration and validation of analytical instruments to maintain accuracy.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in gas analysis technology to apply best practices.
- Provide technical support to field teams during system installation and startup phases.
- Train junior technicians and engineers on gas analyzer systems and operational best practices.
- Adhere strictly to safety and quality standards in all activities and processes.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to achieving company objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience working with gas analyzers.
- Strong knowledge of gas analyzers and gas chromatographs, including analytical system integration such as shelters and sample conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, IEC, and API.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD for documentation and design purposes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and sound decision-making skills.
- Experience with analyzers such as GC’s, TDL, NIR, CEMS, and measurements of physical properties including RVP, specific gravity, density, cloud point, flash point, boiling point, continuous UV/IR, BTU, moisture, total sulfur, water quality (TOC, pH, conductivity, DO).
