We are seeking a skilled professional with extensive experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of gas sampling systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with gas analyzers, natural gas chromatographs (NGCs), and process gas chromatographs (PGCs). This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure precise and reliable gas measurement and analysis, as well as providing technical support during system installation and startup. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting analytical instruments while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, install, and commission gas sampling systems, including gas analyzers, NGCs, and PGCs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and reliable gas measurement and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and maintain gas chromatographs and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for gas analyzers and chromatographs.
- Perform periodic calibration and validation of analytical instruments to maintain accuracy.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in gas analysis technology to enhance system performance.
- Provide technical support to field teams during system installation and startup phases.
- Train junior technicians and engineers on gas analyzer systems and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operational activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with gas analyzers.
- Strong knowledge of gas analyzers and gas chromatographs.
- Experience with analytical system integration, including shelters and sample conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, IEC, and API.
- Understanding of various analyzers including Gas Chromatographs (GCs), Tunable Diode Laser (TDL), Near-Infrared (NIR), Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS), and physical properties like Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) and Specific Gravity (Sp.Gr.).
