Android Developer

We are seeking a talented Android Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have practical experience integrating Google Ads, working with Firebase services, and implementing mobile app monetization strategies. This role requires a developer who is detail-oriented, proactive in optimizing app performance, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Android applications primarily using Kotlin.
- Integrate and manage Google Mobile Ads SDK, including AdMob banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads.
- Implement Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, and Remote Config to enhance app functionality and monitoring.
- Monitor app performance, stability, and user experience, making improvements as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, crashes, and technical issues across various Android devices.
- Work with REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and external services to ensure seamless app integration.
- Implement app analytics to track user engagement and ad performance effectively.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers to ensure cohesive product delivery.
- Adhere to Android development best practices and comply with Google Play Store guidelines.
- Maintain and update existing applications based on performance insights and evolving business requirements.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Hands-on experience with AdMob and Google Mobile Ads SDK integration.
- Practical knowledge of Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and version control systems.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries.
- Solid understanding of the Android app lifecycle, memory management, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with mobile app monetization and strategies for optimizing ad revenue.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conducting Firebase Remote Config experiments.
- Knowledge of Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and Kotlin Coroutines.
- Experience analyzing app analytics, retention rates, and user engagement metrics.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is Rs 23,000 to Rs 140,000, commensurate with experience and skills.

Work Location

This is an in-person role requiring the candidate to work onsite.
