Android Developer( (Kotlin))

Funprime Technology is seeking a skilled Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality native applications for the Google Play Store. The ideal candidate will work closely with product and growth teams to deliver clean, scalable features, integrate monetization strategies, and leverage modern AI-assisted tools to accelerate development. This role requires a hands-on approach to building user-friendly apps while ensuring performance optimization and stability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Create structured and maintainable user interfaces following the MVVM architecture.
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to connect app functionalities with backend services.
- Implement Google AdMob SDKs to enable app monetization.
- Manage and integrate Firebase services such as Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools like Vibe Coding for rapid prototyping and clean code refactoring.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control while adhering to clean code practices.
- Debug, optimize app performance, and resolve crashes or other technical issues.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of features.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in native Android development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin; knowledge of Java is an advantage.
- Experience with Android Studio and Gradle build system.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for source code management.
- Proven experience consuming RESTful APIs in Android applications.
- Solid understanding of MVVM architectural pattern.
- Hands-on experience with Google AdMob SDKs is mandatory.
- Experience working with the Firebase suite, including Analytics and Crashlytics.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Vibe Coding for prototyping and refactoring.
- Published Android applications on the Play Store (portfolio or links preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Familiarity with app performance monitoring and crash reporting tools.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000.
