Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital (HSMH), a 312-bed welfare hospital under development in Malir, Karachi, is preparing to open its doors in December 2026. Committed to delivering safe, high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered healthcare, HSMH is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting anesthesia services by assisting anesthesiologists and ensuring the availability, safety, and proper functioning of anesthesia equipment and supplies during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist anesthesiologists in preparing for and conducting anesthesia procedures.
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain anesthesia machines, monitors, ventilators, and related equipment.
- Ensure anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment are available and ready prior to surgical procedures.
- Set up and check anesthesia equipment before each procedure to guarantee operational readiness.
- Monitor equipment functionality continuously and report any malfunctions or technical issues promptly.
- Handle and store anesthesia medications according to safety protocols.
- Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of anesthesia equipment and accessories to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist in maintaining airway management tools and emergency resuscitation supplies.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies rigorously.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment checks, maintenance activities, and inventory of anesthesia supplies.
- Support the setup and operational readiness of anesthesia services ahead of the hospital’s opening.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Intermediate qualification from a recognized board.
- Relevant diploma or certification in Anesthesia Technology from a recognized institute is preferred.

Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in a hospital or surgical environment.

Additional Information:
- The position requires the candidate to work in person at the hospital location in Plot #89, Deh Khanto, Taluka Ibrahim Hyderi, District Malir, Karachi.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in rotational shifts, including morning, evening, and night shifts.
